I bought this head for my wife's scope and she has been unhappy with it since day one. It seems that the mechanism to keep the head tight is not stable enough and she is always struggling to manipulate the head. I bought it for the price but I am buying her a new Gitzo Birdwatching Tripod Head for the holidays.
