The Pentax Zoom Eyepiece is a wonderful bright, clear and powerful zoom eyepiece. I've used other eyepieces and the clarity, color fidelity and brightness are wonderful to behold. What an eyeful.

I've purchased scopes from different manufacturers in the past and all I can say about this eyepiece is WOW. It is a super nice piece. It's a large piece of glass and very sharp for a zoom. You can compare the image quality to most manufacturers fixed eyepieces. Color fidelity is very accurate and image sharpness excellent. I purchased Pentax fixed power eyepieces in addition to this lens and only gained slight image brightness.
