Swarovski 80mm ATM Spotting Scope Case

Spotting scope case has several snaps and zippers. Front cover and lens cover are removable or can be left on. Taking them off leaves you wanting a place to stow them. Left on the will catch the wind and contribute to shake or will just get bumped. Very snug fit overall, could be a little roomier. Over time the case may loosen up which will make focusing a bit easier. Overall, not bad but could be improved. No other choices to protect your scope.

I agree with the other reviewer that the price is too high but that can be said for all Swarovski products.
But Swarovski does its best to create the best functioning pieces. This case is another example of Quality at all cost. It fits like a glove, in fact once it is zipped up around the scope body you can't adjust it, you have to unzip, adjust, then zip it back up. But once aligned, it stays. The front and rear guards remove and store in the open position instead of dangling in the wind. It still allows good access to the focus ring. The bottom has a large enough opening to accommodate a side rail for digiscoping. Because of price, I give it 4 stars.

The case is well made and does fit the scope like a glove. Since purchasing the case, the case and the scope have traveled over 2000 miles in a fully packed car trunk and the case has done its job of protecting the scope. The case seems a bit overpriced but the quality and the fit are top-notch and I would certainly purchase again.

The Swarovski scope case is a fine piece of gear, absolutely no problems with it other than in retrospect it seems to be a lot more expensive than it really should be. Just my opinion after receiving it.
