This custom-fit, view-through case is water-resistant to keep the straight TSN-772 and TSN-774 spotting scopes protected from the elements.

Carry case - Excellent; See Through - Awful - 06/14/2011

Bought this (Kowa CNW-14) and returned it the day after receiving it. While it is an excellent carry case, if that is all you want, it will NOT function as a see-through case. You CAN open the ends, but the eyepiece end cover in particular is extremely awkward, and also blocks access to any tripod controls. For a see-through case that can be used on a tripod, you need to get the more expensive Kowa C-772 case. Bought that next, see review on that item.
