RX1000 TBR w/ DNA Rangefinder - 08/01/2012

by Andrew from Texas

Overall appearance is that it is well built. Ive had Leupold rangefinders before and sold them bc I was not impressed with the black reticle. This is used for hunting, so I need to be able to see the reticle in low light for viewing the readings. I also had a Leica rangefinder and enjoyed it for reasons mentioned above, however it did not have the true ballistic range capability and it did not take readings out to a tenth of a yard, as an archer I set these requirements for myself. Very pleased at this point, I have used it in the back yard and feel it will do its job. I cannot attest to the battery life or how accurate the rifle ballistic calculations are. Compared to the leica, I would go with the Leupold if your demands match mine. 4/5 stars bc I have no field experience with it....yet..
