When the sun goes down, the Generation 1 technology of the Night Vision Binocular goes to work. It starts by collecting the existing light through the objective lenses, processing the light through an image intensifier and infrared illuminator, and then transfers the image to a type of LCD display screen. All this technology provides the best resolution available with a flat-panel screen for viewing the surroundings while you are caving, camping, or observing wildlife. This model requires 2 AA batteries (not included) and comes with the Bushnell 2-year limited warranty.
