Vortex MK 1 QR Digital Camera Adapter

I bought a few of these adapters a couple years ago to teach digiscoping using our Vortex 80 mm angled scopes. I have had very little luck with them. The overall design is flimsy and does not fit well with the small canon digital cameras that I use at the park. When trying to use these for digiscoping I find I constantly have to adjust the position of the camera on the adapter to try to get a clear shot through the scope. The mount is so flimsy that on an angled scope the weight of the camera causes it to bend toward the digiscope lens, making it very hard to get a good camera alignment. Might work better on a straigh scope. Would not buy again, especially for the purpose of trying to teach digiscoping.
