Use the Phone Skope C-1 adapter case and take the guess work out of digiscoping with your iPhone 5. The iPhone slips easily into the C-1 custom case made from tough ABS plastic. Then twist on the proper sized C-3 optic adapter (sold separately) for your spotting scope or binocular and you're ready to use your iPhone 5 for digiscoping.

Extra Snug fit. Works perfectly

I have an iPhone 5S and this, plus a Phone Skope C-3 Vortex Nomad Optical Adapter for my Nomad Skope was a perfect fit. At first, the size of the case (the large round section that the scope adapter fits into) seems too large. But when the scope adapter is added, it surrounds the scope eyepiece with a solid, seamless, secure tunnel that doesn't need clamps or screws or anything to hold it.
The one minor negative is that this case holds the iPhone extraordinarily tight, and it's a bit of a challenge getting it off and on. If you have a glass screen protector, as I do, it was not necessary to make any changes. But any applied skin, or other case, will definitely need to be removed before this system goes on.
I was not able to adjust the eye-relief so that the black circle around the image was eliminated causing a tunnel effect, but I am still tweaking the adjustments and am very please so far with it.
Tip: you can take a remotely controlled shot with your iPhone if you connect their included headphones to the phone and then pressing the volume down/minus '-' key to take the shot.

I have been really happy with my Phone Skope setup. The adapter fits snugly over the eyepiece of my Zeiss scope and is secure enough that I can just let it sit there without worrying about it falling off. An adapter either works, or it doesn't. This one has been just about perfect.
My only complaint is an extremely minor one; I wish it were easier to slide my phone in and out of the Phone Skope case. But again, being in there snug while I am using it is essential.
