FSA L-2Camera Attachment - 06/03/2011

by Chuck from midwest

Fit finish and optics are excellent. As other people have put in their review the autofocus on the camera will not work when linking this with a spotting scope.(Mine was Nikon edg 85mm.
It does help you from bringing a large lense as well as the spotting scope.

Best Price & Great Delivery - 10/19/2010

by Sean from Williamsport, IN

Have only had a minimal chance to use it so far, but the ordering process and delivery was excellent. I had ordered elsewhere, but they never shipped it, and I started looking around again and found Eagle had it for 100$ less. Ordered it, and it was there in a flash!

Nikon EDG FSA L-S - 03/29/2010

by Lynn Garrison from Eminence, Kentucky

I am using the Nikon EDG FSA L-S to attach a Nikon EDG 85mm Spotting scope to a Nikon D3 camera. I have used it mostly for taking wildlife pictures, mostly birds and mammals. I have had great results when there was a minimal amount of movement by animals. I have had some problems with vignetting when shooting below 800mm focal length. By switching from FX to DX this problem disappears but have less pixels to work with.

In general the images have had great resolution when shooting under the appropriate conditions.

I would highly recommend the Nikon EDG FSA L-S but with the caveat that one must consider the limitations of this type of arrangement. You cannot use automatic focus and have to focus with the EDG spotting scope which can challenging.
