I purchased this window mount for my spotting scope. I was working on a project that required 4 hours of continuous observing and being able to sit in the truck with my notebook was a great option. I could pull up to a site and attach to this mount quickly. It was stable enough to use the scope almost to full magnification. I tried using it with my camera and telephoto lens but the offset weight was a bit much for the mount as opposed to the balanced scope weight. Overall I would recommend this product.

This is a great addition to birding with a spotting scope (Vortex Razor) . On a cold and breezy day I was able to sit comfortably in the driver's seat of my car watching a peregrine falcon 18 stories up on an office building.
