Take a look - Zeiss Conquest 8x30 - 07/01/2009

I'm a hiker, hunter, birder and I also bring my bins on all of my business trips across the country. Optical quality, rugged construction and bang for the buck are very important to me. After handling everything from budget, to the top of the top, I determined that the 8x30 Conquest was the best bin for my eyes, hands and wallet. The image ranks up there with the best; the construction is rugged and well finished; they fit well in my hands, and they are light. The only downsides are that they don't come with objective covers and the case fit is too tight for efficient usage. It's been a few years since I bought these and I couldn't be happier, to the point that I don't shop for, or even handle, other bins much anymore. I'm sure there are other bins out there that compare with these now, but I think someone looking for a very high quality, larger mid sized bin would be making a mistake not to take a look through these.
