Bird watching is a family hobby so four members have new Vanguard Binoculars. My model is the Vanguard Spirit ED 10x42
and the view is really clear and makes identification of specific types of birds easy to identify. The adjustments are simple to focus and the straps are comfortable to wear. I am 100% satisfied with this product.

We have been in Montana for 3 years; it was time for a set of binoculars to view the grizzlies, big horn sheep and wolves in Yellowstone and Glacier. We did our due diligence and examined several on-line ratings and reviews. One set of reviews pointed out the Vanguard Spirit ED 10x42 could fill our needs like the binoculars costing ten times as much. We checked that review against others, then made the purchase. The first day out we spotted a herd of 233 elk almost a mile away. We are very pleased with our purchase!
