Awesome! - 03/24/2013

by Chris B. from Chambersburg, Pa

I am so happy with my 8.5 x 45 Endeavors! The weight is great. Not heavy and not too light either. They feel solid. The focus wheel is very acurate and speedy. The view through them is spectacular. The light transfer and coloring in low light situations is great. I have used Swarovski binoculars before. Even though the Swarovski's are great, the price is not. The Endeavors are very close if not as good, but for a quarter of the price. I recommend these for anyone in the field of birding or any sort of nature watching. I think I'm with them for life now. For price and quality, nothing matches.

I have been out birding four times since I received the glasses and am very peased with the product quality and clear images.

Quality Optics, Affordable Price - 08/10/2012

These are very good optics. They're a high qaulatity build. The are a comopetive with higher priced binoculars. Better than Stein or Merlins except the removeable lens caps.

Good experience. - 06/16/2012

by Brad from Salt Lake City

Bought these binoculars to replace a pair of Pentax which were stolen. After purchasing we took a family trip to Yellowstone/Grand Tetons and spent five days using the binoculars extensively. I'm quite pleased with optic quality and they performed very well overall all. A couple of things were less than optimal. First, the lens caps were poor quality (all around) - could definitely be improved. The case is also less useful than my wife's eagle optics case which simple fits around the binoculars, even while being worn. The last thing I noticed is that the focus is rather shallow and it can be difficult to get a really sharp focus quickly.
Overall I'm happy with the purchase and for the price it seems like a pretty good deal.

Vanguard Endeavor ED 8.5x45 Binnocular - 06/13/2012

by Charles from Oregon

Very nice binocular with one exception. With the label of ED I expected good color performance. This binocular has color fringing around the subject when the background is light. Very disappointing. All other aspects of the binocular are up to expectations. (the objective lenses covers are not attached as shown in illustration)

Vanguard 8.5 x 45 Endeavor - 01/18/2012

by Roger from Oklahoma

I bought the Vanguard Endeavor Binocular after reading the good reviews. I wanted to look through it before I purchased it, and went to Cabelas's which have it available online, but not on display at store. So I decided to buy based on the reviews only and after reviewing Eagle Optics return policy. You can return within 30 days if not satisfied with a product for a full refund.

I own a high-end European binocular and have intentions of selling it after purchasing the Vanguard 8.5 x 45 Endeavor binocular. I use it for deer hunting so most of my use is in low light conditions and the Endeavor out performs the European binocular in this area, and are 1/4th of the cost. I also own a Cabela's Alaskan Guide 10 x 42 and the Endeavor is definitely my favorite between the two.

The Endeavor is light weight for a full size binocular and its light gathering capabilities with the 45mm objective lens is astounding. The clarity is great edge to edge, and the color tone is true as well. Best value binocular I think you can buy.
