I received these binoculars just in time for the Cher concert. We heard about it late and could only get tickets that were high on the side, so we could not see any of the large screen TVs. I was ready for a disappointing concert. But the Vanguard Endeavors were fantastic. We could see Cher's face 10 times larger and so clear, you could almost see the lines. Her costumes were fabulous and we could see all of the details in each one. Normally, my wife does not like to use binoculars for anything, but I could hardly take them away to get a peek. Everyone is amazed at how bright and sharp are the images with this Vanguard. I cannot imagine a better pair of binoculars for this price.

These binoculars are wonderful. The only thing I had a bit of trouble with is the convertible strap and the instructions were less than descriptive. But the optics are awesome.

These binoculars exceeded my expectations. They are super clear to look through and compact enough to carry around. I never leave the house without them. I would recommend these to anyone. Great service and quick shipping make eagle optics a great place to buy your binoculars.

I'm no binoculars expert, but I wanted a better pair of binoculars for myself for bird and animal watching, mainly in our game parks. I decided to buy online, using my nephew in NY as the courier, as there is a limited range of products in-country.
After a lot of comparisons I reluctantly decided that although I'd like to buy in the expensive range, that it was probably not a good idea from such a distance (despite excellent return policies). Just too complicated using our mail service for returns. So I opted for a mid-range binocular and selected the above product as it was award winning, and had a good review from bestbinocularreviews.com. I haven't had much time to examine them since receiving them recently, but I am thrilled with the clarity and compact size of the product. Time will tell, but for now, I am very satisfied. As I haven't put them to a real field test, I'm sticking to a 4star rating, but they probably deserve 5. And EXCELLENT service from Eagle Optics. Thank you.

The Endeavor specs on paper are excellent and the price is attractive. The build felt solid and the close focus was at spec but the optical quality was disappointing. Jupiter was up in the sky so it was a great test target. The image couldn't be made sharp and it flared significantly as I moved it off center to the edge of field of view. Looking at other low light objects showed the mediocre brightness. In bright conditions the image quality was decent but unimpressive. Field of view appeared to be at spec. Used some old Nikon 8x40s Egrets for comparison and they resolved a sharper image and had better brightness than the 10x42 ED Endeavor. Returned the Endeavor binocs and bought the Eagle Optics ED 10x42 which have better optics in my opinion. I'll review them soon.
