Swarovski SLC 10x42 HD - 11/30/2013

by Paul from Connecticut

As you would expect from Swarovski, the optics are great. Clear and bright, a pleasure to use. I had read about the "edge effect" but haven't found it to be a problem. Two minor issues: the bins are a bit on the heavy side and the way the neck strap attaches to the bins is a bit cumbersome. Neither are so onerous that you wouldn't want to use the binoculars.

Swarovski SLC 10x42 HD Binocular - 10/31/2013

by Randy C. from Concord, NC

These are great. I have a pair of Steiner 10x42 which are now for sale. The Swarovski 10x42 hd's are easy to set up, easy to focus which is very fast. Oh by the way, thanks for the GREAT price.

Demo model in perfect condition - 08/02/2013

by Adrian W. from United States

I recently purchased the SLC 10x42 as a demo model, and was assured that the slightly used product would be as good as new! Well, it is, and I am 100% satisfied, and look forward to many years of excellent birding with these superior optics.

Why I bought the SLC 10 x 42 binoculars - 01/11/2012

by Dale from Raymond, MS.

In 2007 I was going on a safari in Africa. My son-in-law gave me his SLC 10x42 to take. The PH that I hunted with wanted to use them every chance he got. I was very impressed with the sharpness and clarity. I later took them to New Zealand and to Africa again. I am retired and had a hard time justifying the cost until this year. I was sitting in a stand with my son-in-law, late in the evening, when he asked if I could see the buck that just stepped out of the woods. I could see deer but could not tell much about it until he handed me his binoculars. They made all the difference in the world. I bought a set of SLC 10x42HD the next day and would recommend them to anyone. I have shown them to several people and they can't get over how clear and bright they are. My son uses mine whenever I am not using them. He will have his own set in the near future.
