Good everyday bin. - 10/14/2010

by Vyacheslav from Irkutsk, Russia

I bought it for watching the cityscapes while scrolling along streets (buildings, carvings, river banks). The first thought about it is "not to forget I've put it into the pocket" - so light and small it is. It can successfully be used during turist trips, especially in cities: its weight and dimensions are optimal for carrying and not thinking about where it is. The magnification 10x is the most effective - it allows avoiding shake while holding in hands and at the same time more details are clear compared to its 8x "brother". The chassis is said to be made of aluminium alloy and it really makes me sure it won't ruin after this or that shock. The picture is clear, bright, blur-free in any point of the field. The eyecups have enough eye distance for comfortable watching. The only thing I don't accept is the absense of objective caps - other bins models have them. I think they would be appropriate. Resume: excellent everyday binoculars for city walks and more if weight and size matter to you. Optical and mechanical quality is really hi-end.
