Great quality and value - 03/26/2016

by Alex K. from Massachusetts

I bought these as they were recommended by Cornell as great inexpensive binoculars that are smaller in size and lightweight. Thanks to their size and weight, I can bring them on bike rides and throw them in a backpack for hiking, or keep stashed in the car. The build quality is quite good and I have no complaints about the optics. Truly a great value.

by June H. from Pennsylvania

Happy with the choice so far. Haven't been out in the field yet. Close up viewing of bird feeders, very good.

great for birdwatching - 12/28/2014

by Mary from North Carolina

I received this binocular as a Christmas present.
I have enjoyed using it while birdwatching.
I have moderate astigmatism in one eye and yet
I have not had any trouble adjusting these to see
well and clearly.

excellent - 10/03/2014

by Ed H. from Eagle Creek (Clackamas Co.) OR

These are my chair binos and they are EXCELLENT. They're the number one pick of Cornell Ornithology and they are exceptional for the $135 price (free shipping). Just excellent. And they focus at six feet. They are excellent for use inside looking at outside hanging feeders and also excellent for outside use. Recommend.

My wife should write this - 09/11/2014

by Alarik S. from New York State

I bought these as a result of scrutinizing some birder sites, following their recommendations.

These were for my wife, who watches for birds on various walks.

She seems quite pleased. I think it's taking her some time to become accustomed to them.

They appeared to me to be very handsome and functional.

What sticks in my mind is how agreeable your web site is, and how easy it was to make the purchase. The site was very reassuring.

Oregon LE WP 8x32 - 07/13/2014

by James M. from Arizona

We bought two Oregon LE WP 8x32s for a 3 week photo trip to Southern Africa. We owned an older pair and thought we needed something brighter, not terribly heavy and well made.

These met all criteria and then some. For the price they are terrific. They allowed us to view game under a variety of light conditions, dawn to sunset with little variation in quality.

We had only one small problem. One one side of one pair the rubber protective cup sometimes pulled off the eye cup. That occurred about 1/2 the time.

Overall, we are very happy with them.

Great gift - 04/08/2014

by happy customer from US

Bought these, and two bird watching books, to give to my 9 year old grandson for his birthday. Earlier in the year he had become fascinated with birds during a visit to the Denver Zoo. He loved them and was very excited that they were not a toy but "real." Just the right size for him and easy to use. The only problem was getting him and his cousin to stop spying on the neighbors.
