Fantastic Bargain - 08/04/2010

I'm a big fan of little binoculars. I often combine birding and hiking, and I appreciate optics that won't weigh me down and take up little space in a daypack. The Travelite 8X25 is, in my opinion, the best compact porro on the market. The view is razor sharp across the field, and the focus mechanism is silky smooth. They are lighter in weight than most of the binoculars in their size class, but they still have a sturdy, durable feel. I don't know how Nikon is able to produce such a quality binocular at such a reasonable price.
