Nikon 8x32 EDG - 06/19/2011

by Carl from Big Island, Hawaii

No doubt the glass and construction of the EDG is up there with the big guns, Leica, Zeiss, Swarovski. My first Nikon 8x32 EDG were defective. Nikon did send me a new factory bino without to much trouble. I question Nikon's warranty. What do you get in the "fine print" of warrantys? My advice: If your spending this much money buy Swarovski. When i had a problem with my Swarovski's they really back you up. They take care of you. Generous. A lot less question marks in there warranty. Bottom line: Stick to the middle and lower Nikon lineup very good value. Buy a Swarovski. Don't forget Eagle Optics brand for stunning value, great bino's to back up your expensive binoculars......Carl
