Mini Minox - 05/26/2010

by Jim from Colorado

I have owned a these for several years now, and use them exclusively for travel. They are small, compact, light, and travel well. Optics are sharp, focusing is fast and sure. The 3mm exit pupil is limiting in low light, as would be expected. They have been bumped and splashed in boats, dropped once or twice, but have held up well. One of the hinges has loosened so the barrel will not stay in position, but otherwise, they have been durable and reliable. I would consider them again, but there are many more choices available since I acquired these, so would have to consider others as well.
