Worth Double The Price

I spent months researching binos for hunting. I actually bought the good Steiner and Leupolds first but returned them both. The Steiners were dark and the Leupolds did not have repeatability when going between focus and diopter adjustments (one would throw the other off since they used the same knob).
The Meopro are in a completely separate class but same price (Eagle Optics had the best price out there). These are on par with Zeiss in every respect except for price. Phenomenal glass (Meopta actual provides glass to Zeiss) but everything else is of equal quality including all the mechanics. These are the only binos you need. Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed.
Bald Eagle from a mile away

I have been using an old pair of Nikon 7 x 21s for years. My fellow birders got second loans on their homes and bought Leica, Zeiss and Swarovski binoculars. At about 2K or more each they're a little to rich for my blood. Recently, I shot a friend's rifle with a Meopta sighting scope and was impressed with its optical quality. Consequently, I ordered a pair of Meopta Meopro 8 x 42s and on my first day out spotted a Bald Eagle flying North to South down the Hudson River. The bird had to be at least a mile away. The clarity and optical quality were amazing. I wear eyeglasses and the eye relief was superb with the twist-down eyecups. Comfortable "feel" in the hand, good balance, smooth focus knob (with a diopter adjustment), wide field of view, such clarity. I would recommend these binoculars to anyone who wants great quality binoculars at a reasonable price.

I just got the Meopro 8x42 to add to my collection. I have been comparing them to my best, a Swarovski 8x30 which was a MAJOR purchase for me.I like binos and just wanted to get another one. They all are different and they take me a while to get used to them. This one costs less than half what the Swaro did but i am surprised that they are so close that i really can't tell much difference between them. Same goes for a Zeiss Conquest 8x30, WOW this thing is good! I actually like that the Meopta is bigger and has more weight, makes it easier to handle and hold still. They feel very solid and the focus is very smooth , the whole thing says quality, better than i thought it would be. It's good to get a product that exceeds your expectations. Any negatives? Not really, oh the case is a little tight and the strap is very long, i had to shorten it as much as i could and i am over 6 foot! Why so long? Its also very wide with quick release. Bottom line is high quality without the stupid high price.
