Good Binoculars (Except if you wear glasses) - 11/05/2010

by Billy J. from New York

From an optical quality standpoint, these binoculars are excellent. You really can see the magnification and light gathering difference between these 8.5x45s and the 8x42s and 8x43s usually in their comparison group. They also provide a really clear, contrasty picture.

The only flaw I found is they are very hard to use with glasses. I had to keep moving the binoculars around before I could actually find the sweet spot (and I adjust my binoculars every time I take them out of the case).

Did a comparison of four binoculars in the same range and these came in second.
