We borrowed several pair of Leupold BX-1 Yosemites to use with our fifth grade field trips. They were just right for that age to use successfully. We now own our own pairs and are really sold on these binoculars for use with children. They are the right size and adjust easily.

I bought these for my wife for bird watching. They are a good choice. Not too big and not too small and not too heavy. They are bright, light, and easy to use with or without glasses. They focus at a close distance and subjects are clear.
