Leica 10x42 Trinovid Binocular - 02/04/2014

I have a similar pair and have had them for many years. They have been wonderful!! I gave this pair as a gift to my son. He also says they are amazing!

Superior Specs! - 06/07/2013

If you opt for the Leica Trinovid you will not be disappointed. The look & feel are solid quality. The optics to not disappoint. I like the focus wheel better than my Zeiss Victory binocs. For comparison, I can tell very little difference between the Zeiss and Leica binocs, they're both outstanding.

Quality Product - 05/17/2013

The Leica Trinovid 10x42 binoculars are gorgeous. Beautiful optics, solid/quality feel in the hands, and Eagle Optics delivers! These seem equal in quality to my Zeiss Victory Fl binocs. Highly recommended.

Don't overlook Leica's new Trinovids - 08/09/2012

by Eric from Colorado

The new 42mm Trinovids are being marketed as entry-level glass, but that's a mistake. What Leica is really offering here (and it's brilliant!) is an alternate optical version of the Ultravid that's ideal for the general user instead of highly specialized for birders. It just happens to cost less, as a nice bonus. Rather than standing out by 0.2% in some tech spec, which edgy high-end binos must sacrifice something else to acheive, it's such a well-balanced design (optically and mechanically) that it's an absolute pleasure to use. I'm very picky and have been looking for a 10x42 for a long time. The Trinovid stands out simply for having nothing I could possibly complain about, whereas the Ultravid is visibly unsharp in the outer part of the field; Zeiss Victory has very annoying distortion around the edges; Swarovski SLC HD isn't as bright, and has a surprising amount of barrel distortion... I could go on listing costlier binos I couldn't live with, but won't. If there's any compromise here it's one I'm very happy to live with. Thank you Eagle -- my local store didn't even know these existed.
