These are great binoculars. I use them mainly on a tripod/monopod, because of the weight, but the harness works really well with them. Hadn't had much experience with individual focus, but I got used to it quickly. You can't beat the optics: I don't see how they could be better; maybe if I paid 5 times more I could get a pair that was just a little bit better. I should have bought these years ago: I really enjoy the brighter, larger, deeper field of view.

Excellent optics, wide flat field of view. Easy to hand hold, despite being a bit heavy. Solid build quality. Large eyepieces and relief make the binocular quite nice to use.

I hunt deer in the winter, groundhogs all summer.I have several pair of big box hunting store bino's and I am not getting any younger so I wanted see more and better. The first day in the field I could easily find groundhogs at 600 to 800 plus yards. My son with the big box bino's had a very difficult time seeing them without them moving.I am VERY impressed with the Fujinon 10x50 Polaris. Now my son wants a pair. Most of the reviews I read said"when you need to find a star or something else you always fall back on the Fujinon" Why did I not do this earlier? Amazing clarity, focus at all distance, depth. Definitely worth the price!!

These are excellent astronomy binoculars. After 10 years I finally own one of these. The image is sharp to almost the edge and field is flat. On-axis sharpness, contrast and transmission is excellent. I easily see more stars compared to my previous 10x42 Nikon binoculars even in light polluted places. Furthermore, these binoculars are very ruggard and I like the fact that I can just 'dump' it into my luggage bag without worrying that it get damaged. Being rubber armoured, it is not necessary to have a case. The only draw back of this binoculars for astronomy applications is the weight. If one needs to observe for long hours, it can get a bit strenous. However, to alleviate this, I use this binoculars in conjunction with my monopod. In this way, I achieve better stabilization (much less body/ hand shake and thus higher resolution) and way less fatigue to my arms. :)

These are excellent marine binoculars, well built and excellent optics. One caveat is that the binoculars are heavy and can be hard to hold up for long.
