Exceeded my expectation. I tried others brands and Eagle Optics clearly is a better choice. Perfect for bird-watching and it is not heavy.

A siting of some rare geese in the Platte Valley caused me to upgrade to a better pair of binoculars. I opted for the Ranger 10 X 50 since they happened to be on sale. Ordering and delivery was quick and painless and I'm very happy with the clarity and performance of the glasses. Would admit it's the most I've ever spent but can't believe spending another $1.000 would be worth that much for the little improvement in visual quality. I can drop a $1500 pair in the river just as easily as the $280 pair I bought. I have a pair of Nikon 10 X 50 but visual quality isn't nearly what the new Eagles are.

I could not be happier with this purchase. The binoculars arrived quickly, and we well packaged. My primary use is birdwatching. These binoculars are easy to focus and use. They work well with glasses. They are a little heavy but that is to be expected. I'm looking forward to many years of use!
Good and clear
Jeff C. from Peru
My recent order with Eagle Optics for the Ranger 10X50 is worth the money. The view through the optics are most relaxing. The sharpness is good and clear. I live in the Amazon lowlands of Peru and looking for birds through tons of leaves is hard to say the least, but these optics get the job done. They are not overpowering heavy, so I am not too sore necked at the end of the day. The focus agent seems to work very swiftly and for all these reasons I purchased this model to replace my stolen pair. I will also add Eagle Optics was quick to follow my instructions on shipment. I had them sent to a friend in Texas and another person delivered them to me in Ecuador as part of their "personal luggage". It was my only option to get around 100% import duty. I owe many people a great thank you and especially Eagle Optics for their outstanding work.
Ranger 10x50 exceed expectations
Tom M. from Colorado
The Ranger 10x50 binoculars are everything as advertised and more. The weight, clarity, and focus/diopter adjustment are perfect for my needs....distance bird-of-prey viewing without sacrificing close range focus. The online shopping site was flawless and a subsequent customer service experience that I had was warm, friendly, and extremely efficient

I liked mine so much we decided to start the marriage of two young friend off right with matching pairs of these fine instruments so that the essential things in life will be closer and better appreciated.
Glad I followed a recommendation

I have had many pair of Binoculars but none have compared to my new Ranger 10x50. I asked a friend who has hiked, hunted all over and his father before him and in a price range I gave he listed 3 or 4 that he would recommend.(2 being Eagle products) The Eagle Optics Ranger was his #1 pick. I went with that and purchased them. I would now recommend them to anyone who asks. The price was great, the quality so far is above others I own.

I am thoroughly pleased with these Ranger binoculars. The magnification took a little while to get accustomed to (I had been using Leupold 10x42s). The image through these binos is clear and sharp, makes for fantastic birding!

I love my Rangers, they are clear across the whole lens scopes without any without any side fading. They have also held up well in bad weather in the field
J Z from OH
Phenomenal binoculars. Compared to the Nikon Action 10x50 it's no contest. Top notch in all respects.

I bought these binoculars two months ago and have thoroughly enjoyed them ever since. The only part that seems like it's not going to last forever is the rubber lens covers. Otherwise, great product, I already recommended it to a couple of colleagues.
Great product, excellent customer service

Appreciate the quick turn around time from my purchasing online to receiving the binoculars. They are amazing in their performance. Lightweight, crystal clear viewing, easy to adjust. For the money, it is a great value. Surpasses my expectations. Wish I purchased these a year ago. Thanks.

Great optics for the price and warranty! Yeah the focuses are not as good as those $1,000 binos, but the low light view is surprisingly excellent. Since I'm an eye glass wearer the eye relief is so important. I went from 22 mm to the 19.5 and it does make a difference, but there isn't anything better for the price. The binos are heavy but do not bother me. I also do not mind the greater shakiness of 10 power. My second binos were 10 by 50 and I'm glad to be back with the closer image. Cannot wait to get the tripod adapter. One strap came undone, fortunately, fell on dirt service. Might have been my issue, but seems straps could be better quality. Only real knock on the purchase was the carry case. Really too small for the diameter of the big lenses .Needs a larger carrying case both in width and length. I like size to be big enough to handle the straps wrapped around the body, or even placed on top of the resting binos.

Bought the binocular while on sale. For a short background; I have been using binoculars full times since 1988 when I started birdwatching. Anyway, a short analysis: 1. Excellent eye relief for eyeglass wearers like myself. 2.Excellent clarity. 3.Smooth focus 4. Some color fringing while looking at dark objects with light background. Doesn't bother me. 5. Seems very well made. 6. One peculiarity; one of the ocular lense has a predominately purple hue and one a green hue. Doesn't affect the view so I kept them. However, if it was an "alpha" binocular, it would have been unaccceptable to me.

Excellent value for a quality optic, specifically in low light conditions.
Rick P from Maryland
Field tested now for about 16 hours in cold cloudy conditions most of the time. Another 8 hours from inside looking at backyard feeders and river. Very pleased. Index finger focus was a surprise but I am adjusting to it. It's a bit stiff. Definitely taking practice with the 10x to find the target. Doesn't come overnight. But nice weight, great feel, excellent fit and finish. It feels and looks quality. I am glad I spent 329 whereas my original budget wa 250.
Eric P. from Long Island, New York
These were recommended to me by a naturalist and birder who has more than 50 years of intensive field experience, and he did not steer me wrong. I'm a novice birder and have found them simply a delight to use.
Very Successful Gift to Birder
Liz W. from United States
I bought these for my husband as a gift and he was VERY excited. He takes them everywhere because they come with a great case and are relatively compact. Compared to the binoculars these replaced the improvement is night and day. The image is crisp and the "zoom" is great. They are also very easy to use.

I LOVE THEM. I purchased for my truck, and i think i like them more then my steiner binoculars. i have had for more then 15 years. two of my hunting buddies have ordered some too.
john g. from Lake George, NY
I found this prouct a nice balance of capability for cost.
Love these binoculars
CAT from Sandpoint, idaho
I have these binoculars for work and they are my favorite. The field of view is large, they let in a lot of light giving really sharp and bright detail, and the magnification is also great. Others have borrowed them for a few minutes and always comment that they are really nice, almost as good as the scope. And they're really light weight and comfortable. Love them!
10*50 Ranger Optics
Chris from United States
I recently purchased the 10x50 Ranger by Eagle Optics. I am a wildlife biologist and do plenty of nesting bird surveys and need a great optic with clarity and durability. The 10x50 is a bit on the heavy side, but I got used to stabilizing in only a couple field visits. The 10mm primary lens is great for low-light conditions, which allows in more light compared to smaller 8mm optics. I did see some similar models when researching optics, and most had the same specs for $100 dollars less, but with Eagle Optics you get a lifetime unconditional replacement warranty. How could you pass that up with an optic that will last you forever and you will never go back to another binocular! highly recommended...
Nice, but I returned them.
tom from joliet, IL
These are nice binoculars. I bought these and a pair of Vortex to compare: very similar, but I preferred the Vortex, even though it was more expensive.
Lynette M. from Iowa City, IA
We recently purchased these binoculars for a trip to Kearney, NE to see the sandhill crane migration, and they were wonderful. We tested them in the low light of dusk and dawn, and they served us exceptionally well. Couldn't be happier!

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH MY 10X50 BINOCULARS. THEY ARE EASY TO USE AND MAKE BIRD VIEWING FUN. THEY ARE THE FINEST BINOCULARS I HAVE EVER OWNED.
excellent for astronomy
glenn from vermont
we use the 8x42 rangers in our high school biology classes. they hold up to abuse and perform well. when we needed a couple of pairs for astronomy, we tried these 10x50's. they are bright with low distortion. a large portion of the field shows pin point stars, but i was not anticipating a major advantage: for a 10x binocular, they are exceptionally steady in the hand. jiggling star fields are no fun. these are rugged, well balanced binoculars with very good image quality, especially for the price. our students no longer reach for the beautiful old porros, so i guess that's the bottom line.
