Very Nice - 07/09/2014

by Mike from N Salt Lake

These are small, light (under 6 ounces on my postal scale) and easy to operate. I wanted a pair of binoculars that I would not mind leaving in a motel room when they were not needed and that I could let the nieces and nephews use when they visit. These fit my need and will probably become my primary hiking binoculars. They will not match the performance of my Zeiss binoculars in receding light but I did not expect that they would. I have another pair on order.

A Perfect Backpack Binocular - 03/30/2010

by S Grelle from Florida

My husband and I both have more expensive binoculars, but I wanted something lightweight and portable that I could throw in my backpack and not worry about. This little guy fits the bill! When it's not in my backpack, it's sitting on the kitchen table so that I can grab it to watch the birds that drop in at the feeder. This would be a great "starter" binocular for young and old alike. You can't go wrong considering the Eagle Optics return policy!

Instructions could be better - 07/15/2009

by Inge Bretherton from Madison WI 53705

Hi, I bought one of your own brand (seemingly) binoculars (8x21)at Wild Birds Unlimited as a gift a few days ago. The instructions for use of the binoculars are o.k., and the binoculars seem well designed. It's useful to have one rather than two lens-caps.

However, the instructions for attaching the straps are lacking, and even though there is a place for attaching the lens-cap, no strap is provided. We constructed one with fishing line.
