Great value - 06/09/2016

by Lori from MN - Minnesota

Very, very good binocular for the price! I bought these as a gift, now I plan to buy another pair for myself.

Excellent service - 03/11/2016

by Mary from Oregon

I wanted binocs that would work with my eyeglasses and that didn't weigh a lot. These meet those needs and the lenses are clear and bright. My birder sister recommended them and for solid reasons. They are just right for my beginning birding level.

Customer service responded immediately when I noticed a lower price elsewhere and they offered the difference. Eagle Optics is a good company that makes a quality product and provides service to match.

Denali Binoculars - 02/23/2016

by Creighton D. from Sarasota, Florida

These binoculars were recommended by the local Audubon Society after we used them on a bird watching tour. The Denali binoculars arrived in good time and in good shape. We are very pleased with this purchase!

Great! - 01/09/2016

by Lauren from Pennsylvania

First pair of official binoculars and I really like them! They arrived super fast too!

College avid birder low on cash - 01/08/2016

by Sam R. from Athens, Ohio

These binos are great. I assure you, you can't go wrong. Quality is excellent, as well as the size, operation, and clarity of the lens. I have tried alot of binos in this price range and these are up there with alpine binos, celestrons, and the monarchs. Not to mention, Eagle Optics are WONDERFUL when it comes to customer service. I dropped my binos and the loop hole and eye piece broke. Since I can not be without my binos during the Christmas Bird Count and GBYBC, I called Eagle Optics and they told me how to temporarily fix them (zip tie around and looped my strap through there)

Great birding binocular - 01/06/2016

by Mickey from Linville, NC

I've used Eagle Optics Denali binoculars for over ten years. Eagle Optics stands behind their products, and this is a binocular that is easy to stand behind.

Excellent for birdwatching. - 01/03/2016

by Rob from Upstate New York

Superior design, excellent range (both near and for distance). Easy to maintain. Well worth the money!

Great price for quality optics - 12/31/2015

by Sue R. from Lyons, CO

The Eagle Denali 8x42 binoculars arrived quickly and exactly as expected. Having used these binoculars before, I purchased 4 pairs for my bird watching company. They are lighter than most at this price point, focus smoothly and have very good clarity. They hold up well to lots of use. This is a great pair for your car, the kids or in the cabin for all to use. Get a pair!

Very nice inexpensive binos - 12/29/2015

by Jerry F. from Port Angeles WA

I am a professional naturalist and research ecologist. I've bought and sold high-end binoculars for many years often providing advice for friends and colleagues. I recently purchased yet another pair of Eagle Optics Denali 8x42's for a friend and would recommend them highly to anyone with a similar need. The person receiving these glasses is a beginning birder and a fairly light user of field glasses. The Denali's provide a VERY BRIGHT image, nice handling, close focus, and a great value for the money. I cannot say how long they will remain water tight nor how long they will remain with prisms in alignment. These physical durability issues are what make high-end glasses so expensive. But for the beginner or the light user... the Denali's are sure bet and a very nice bargain.

Am enjoying the use of my new binoculars from Eagle Optics. They seem to fit perfectly, are light weight and easy to focus. I could bring a himmingbird right up close this morning!

Environmental Educator's love. No more guessing on eBird! - 11/07/2015

by Sam R. from Athens, Ohio

So these are some great binos if you're looking for your 2nd pair of binos when you're ready to get serious. I have used Nikon's Monarchs at times when borrowing from friends. I say that these are just as good. Great clarity, brightness, eye relief. Trust me, you can't go wrong with these. I promise. Its so easy to see depth in brushy cover when looking for that white throated sparrow jumping around in the bushes. You are able to catch that layer where the bird is at with clarity even if its pretty thick. Distance is clear, colorful, and easy to spot those wingbars on a winter goldfinch, or to catch that other field marking that will make the difference once you're entering in eBird. Im not made of money. But these are binos I know I can take with me to bird with some of the top eBirders in my area and I know I can trust on them for years with the warranty from Eagle.
They are always surprised at the quality and build of these binos. For sure a good buy. And come on, they support birders all across the country!

Happy Customer - 11/05/2015

by Valerie P. from San Diego, CA

I am new to birding, so I did A LOT of online research about binoculars. I was disappointed to discover that no local sporting good stores carried the brands recommended by the Audubon and other birding websites. I narrowed my choice down to Eagle Denali, Nikon Monarch and Celestron Nature because they all had the features important to me; Multi-coated lenses on all surfaces, light weight, water/fogproof, BaK4 prisms,in my price range and good reviews. Since I had to go sight unseen, I went with Eagle Optics for their unlimited, unconditional lifetime warranty. I am not disappointed. They are easy to hold, (I am female with small hands) and the lenses are bright and clear. The focus is quick with great field of view. Small movements of the bins are smooth while viewing. These are great, reasonably priced binoculars that make me eager to bird watch all the more.

Excellent Value - 10/11/2015

by Nora J P. from Louisville, KY

I recently joined a bird watching club and needed a good pair of binoculars. I wanted something that was not too expensive, yet worked really well. I found that in the EO Denali binoculars. I cannot believe how fast I have learned to use them, and the clarity of my sightings are great. I would buy them again!!!

Robusto e leve.

Estou muito satisfeito.

Great pair of cost-effective binoculars - 09/02/2015

by Mary W from Houston, TX

These binoculars were a higher upgrade from my current pair than the price would suggest. I'm really happy with them. I had a compact set before so these are heavier by comparison, but not too heavy. I can easily and quickly spot what I'm seeking, a great upgrade! The focus is easy and quick to adjust and the accompanying booklet is very helpful. I did find that the lens covers fall off pretty easily. I now just pull them off and stick them in my field bag, so they don't get lost. Overall, a great purchase!

Great binoculars! - 07/31/2015

by Morgan from Olympia WA

I am very impressed with the binoculars. Very clear view, easily adjustable and light weight. I can have trouble viewing through both eye lenses of binoculars, but these work very well for me. Highly recommend!

Very good binocular for the price! - 07/21/2015

by Donald W. from Willow Springs, Missouri

I bought these to use around the farm for hunting and wildlife watching. The optics are outstanding, and you won't find a better binocular for the price. The focus is a little stiff, but it will probably loosen up with time. I bought a similar 8X42 pair from Eagle Optics in 2001 and they are still working perfectly. Would certainly buy again and recommend these glasses with no reservations.

Denali - 06/13/2015

by Roger S. from United States

First pair of binoculars. Eagle Optics was recommended by a friend. Ordered the Denali. Very happy with them. Suggested same to my friend. She has the same feeling about the Denali.

So much light! - 06/07/2015

So much light! These binoculars will magically illuminate any critter you dream to set your eyes upon! Praise!

Eagle Optics Denali 8x42 Roof Prism Binocular is a great buy - 05/26/2015

by John P. from Duluth, MN

This is the best binocular for the money, without exception. The optics are very sharp, the focus is smooth and rapid, the size is compact and light, it balances well in my hands, and my ability to see through them with my glasses on exceeds any other binocular I have had.

I can see the birds now - 05/21/2015

by Helen W. from Chicago

Using good binoculars like these creates a whole new viewing experience. I've seen my first Indigo Bunting. The blue was so startlingly blue I couldn't believe it. The Denali does a great job! My only problem was that a lens cover slipped off on Day 1 & was lost. There should be a way to attach the lens covers more securely. The good news was that Eagle Optics sent out a replacement cover within two days of my calling to complain.

Great Company - 05/13/2015

by Angela O. from Baton Rouge, LA

I own 2 pair of Eagle Optics Denali 8x42s. The first pair, after many hours of use had the adjustable eyecup wear to the point that it would not stay in place. The second pair was dropped. Totally my fault. In both cases EO repaired my binoculars at no charge to me. The only cost was to shipped them to their repair facility. On the first pair, the eyecups were replaced with an eyecup with a better design to avoid the previous wear issue. The binoculars were also aligned and cleaned. One of the logos on the body which had been missing was replaced. I had not asked for it to be replaced but I mention it because it's the little details like this that make me a loyal customer to this company. The second pair, despite being dropped by me, was also repaired at no charge. Again, the binoculars' alignment and focus was adjusted and they were cleaned. They both were retuned to me as they were when brand new. Overall, I love these binoculars but the intent of this review is to point out how much I appreciate the way this company handles warranty issues. Pretty soon I'll be upgrading my optics. I haven't decided on a model yet, but rest assured it will be an Eagle Optics/Vortex model.

Amazing - 05/04/2015

by Jerry from Port Angeles, WA

I am a professional field biologist and scientist with the US National Park Service. I've been a birder all my life... 60 years now. And I've also been a binocular fanatic buying and selling only high end Zeiss, Leica, and Swarovski binoculars online to help out friends who trust my judgment and knowledge of the makes and models.

I recently needed to buy an inexpensive gift for someone and thought I'd try Eagle Optic's economical Denali's. I have to say that I am ASTOUNDED by the wonderful quality and bright image from these glasses. I think they are fantastic for the price and very extraordinary value. I cannot say how they might stack up against the more pricey glasses over the long term... but right out of the box these are an instant delight. Try 'em, you'll like 'em. I sure did. Amazing.

awesome - 02/22/2015

by Ronnie from Houston, Texas

After spending my first spring migration last year using $25 binoculars from Academy it was time for an upgrade. After reading all the reviews I went with the Eagle Optics Denali 8x42s. They are wonderful and I could not recommend them enough. I literally saved my pennies for months to go towards buying my new pair and the price on these seemed very reasonable along with the good reviews. Taking them out for the first time I actually caught myself focusing on a Mourning Dove because I was seeing colors and a sheen that I had never seen before with my other binocs. Highly recommend for the thrifty birder.

Very pleased! - 02/19/2015

by Terry S. from United States

I am a beginning birder and Eagle Optics was recommended by a friend. The binoculars I got are great. Even better, the customer service when we called in with questions about different binoculars was excellent and the lifetime no questions asked guarantee made it a no risk purchase. I definitely am recommending the glasses and the company whenever I can.

Denali 8×42 - 02/10/2015

Impressed!! - 12/30/2014

by Bob S. from New York

I own Bausch and Lomb 8 by 42 and bought the Denali model for my wife. I was amazed at the clarity of the image. Also the close focus is great. Much better than my binos. I may purchase 10 by 50s for hawkwatching. Great quality for the price.

FANTASTIC - great bins for educating with! - 11/18/2014

by David from Charleston, SC

As Director of an Environmental Education Program, I have purchased a large number of these Denali models over the past 6 years. They are worth every cent!
If you are an outdoor educator and want to improve your ornithology class for children or adults, I highly recommend that if you can afford these, buy them!
The optics are great, and they are light-weight enough for young children to grasp easily.
Over the 6 years that we have had the initial 15 pairs, they have been used by countless 5th graders, and we even let 1st graders use them - although, please note that I wouldn't dream of doing that without using a full bino harness, to prevent drops. In that time, I have only had to retire 1 pair for excessive scratches. These bins seem to shake off almost all abuse thrown at them. We get naturalists bringing back bins to be cleaned that appear to have been thrown in the sand on our beach, and with a little TLC they look brand new. FANTASTIC!
Every single time I order from Eagle Optics, I have been incredibly impressed by their attention to detail, customer service and their products.
Well Done!
