Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 10x36 Binocular (Black)

I was looking for a 10x32 companion to my Vortex Viper 8x32 (my favorite every day binocular). First I tried a Viper 10x32, but, to my surprise, was disappointed in the clarity of the image. Then I tried several other 10x32's - but none seemed to be anywhere near the equal of the Viper 8x32. The price and rebate on the Bushnell 10x36 got my attention, so I decided to try them. Again to my surprise the Bushnells are every bit as clear and bright as the Vipers. Of course they have a larger objective lens, but they are actually a bit smaller overall. Apart from the new 10x30 Swarovsky Companion, the Bushnell is the clearest and brightest intermediate 10x I have found. There are two issues which keep me from giving this binocular 5 stars: 1) The eyepieces are too loose and will occasionally retract under pressure. 2) The tethered objective lens covers are loose and fall off. I would also point out that this is a Chinese binocular and does not have the build quality of the Japanese Viper. However, the build quality is certainly adequate and the price and the optical quality make these Bushnells very attractive in the intermediate 10x field.
