Has the designer ever actually used this? - 07/03/2013

Once again the belt loops are too far down. The binos hang out from the top, awkward, stupid, what were they thinking? It's a shame cause the workmanship and materials are great.

A bit too small for the 8 x 32 Viper it is supposed to fit. - 02/12/2011

This case came with my Vortex 8 x 32 Viper, but the binoculars will not fit in the case with the binocular's own neck strap attached. Without the neck strap they fit perfectly. The choice is then to either take strap off the binoculars and carry using the shoulder strap provided for the case, or take the case strap off and leave the binocular neck strap outside the case flap and carry using the binocular's own strap. Not good. Another inch of height is really needed to accommodate the neck strap. Maybe the 8 x 42 case will work better, but then that is what Vortex should have provided.

cute and durable - 06/15/2010

Got this case to replace the soft ones that came with my Leupold binoculars. The case is very nice and I like that it has a small zippered compartment on the inside (top). It's not a completely hard shell case, but it is certainly durable enough to protect the glasses and keep them dry. They are perfect for the price.

Nice case - 03/30/2010

I bought this case for a pair of Pentax 9X28 binos for which the Pentax case was a bit tight and had no straps on it. While this case is a bit large for my binos, the case itself is very nice. The quality is excellent and I expect it to last me for many many years.
