A monopod provides a convenient way to greatly stabilize binocular images. The Uni-Daptor is the perfect adapter for bins with the 1/4" receiver. This quick-connect/quick-release device is well made and makes the switch on and off from hand-held to monopod or tripod quick and easy. The mount is very stable but it is not locked, so I keep the neck strap on when viewing and wear the bins around neck when walking. It's just the right size and does not interfere with viewing at all. An excellent accessory.
