This adapter is quality-crafted of metal, and steadies large binoculars with ease. The mounting screw is reversible, if necessary, and there is even a threaded hole for storing the binocular's cap screw. More expensive than others I've seen, but quality pays in the long run.

If any binocular user wants full use of 10 power or higher binoculars,this tripod adapter is a MUST HAVE accessory.It is impossible to hold 10+ power binos steady enough to view details at the range or viewing from your vehicle.Works great on my window mount and tripod.There were less expensive adapters ,BUT this one is made in Japan not China.Very solid and stable ,the Pentax TP3 adapter is a 5 star product,that is easy to use and exhibits very high quality fit and finish.
