What's the first thing to get lost when you take your binoculars out in the field? The loose plastic caps provided by many manufacturers. Measure the outside diameter of the binocular barrel to determine which size of these tethered objective lens covers you need. These lens covers:
- Fit an outside diameter of 44mm.
- Come as a set of two lens covers.
- Stay securely on the objective lens.

Our Canon 10x30 image stabilization binocs came with NO cover for the objective lenses. Canon's logic as I understand it is that because the objectives are somewhat recessed, a cover is not required. WRONG. Eagle Optics suggested these as a not-perfect-fit-but-best-there-is solution and we're pleased with the results.
But I must add that after 4-5 months of use, the rubber cracked and the tethers broke. However, Eagle Optics quickly replaced them upon request, and even sent a second pair as backup.

I managed to lose my original objective caps on my favorite all-around binocular, a Swift Eaglet 7x36. The small (44mm) Eagle Optics Tethered Binocular Lens Cover Set was a perfect fit. I wish I had had this set when I was caught in a heavy thunderstorm while biking several days ago; I would not have splashed water all over the objective lenses! I measured the outside of an objective barrel with a vernier caliper to be reasonably sure of the fit. These covers are the same as found on the Eagle Optics Ranger SRT 6x32 Binocular.
