Excellent Strap - 07/25/2015

by Michael H. from Houston TX

As other reviewers say this is an excellent strap. It is extremely comfortable and not too long so there isn't a lot of spare length to deal with. It is also very compact and light which are underrated qualities in a strap. Very easy to slip back into your case unlike many others. Well worth the price.

This Eagle Optics Neoprene Binocular Strap is without question the finest aftermarket strap that I have encountered. I elected to use it for my Zeiss 7x42 B/GA T*P* rather than the Zeiss strap. Very high quality and comfortable to use.

Good replacement strap - 02/05/2011

by Peter from Pennsylvania

I needed to replace the original strap that came with my Leica 8 x 32s some 15 years ago. The strap offered by Eagle Optics was the best that I have found and I have searched far and wide. The only thing I do not understand is why none of the straps that I found, had a similar leather & plastic stud arrangement to attached the strap to the binocular, without interfering with the function of the rain guard? This is a very short attachment and allowed the rain guard to sit on the eyecups properly and also slide up the strap out of the way when using the binoculars. Maybe a need for some more development here.

The best strap, period - 07/22/2009

Even if you have the best binoculars money can buy, you're not going to enjoy using them if you aren't comfortable. This is the standard strap for all the EO bins, and when I purchased the EO Rangers some time ago I was amazed by how comfortable this strap was. But the EO bins are pretty light, and it wasn't until I ungraded to a pair of Zeiss, a much heavier pair of binoculars, that I realized how great the strap really was.

It wasn't long before I ditched the terrible Zeiss strap and replaced it with my old EO strap. It's got just the right amount of give to keep your neck from feeling tired after a long day in the field. When my current one wears out, I'll absolutely get another one.
