Discover a wonderful variety of habitats

Colossal, bountiful, and expansive are only a few of the words you need to describe the variety of birding opportunities found at the San Diego Bird Festival. Hosted by the San Diego Adubon Society in early March, the festival activities take advantage of oceanfront beaches, bayfront tidelands, canyons, mountains, and deserts. This array of habitat provides permanent and migratory homes for more than 480 species of birds.

Along with the exceptional birding opportunities, the festival includes workshops about optics, digiscoping, wildflowers, bird identification, backyard habitats, drawing, painting, and more! Many respected experts are on hand to lead the numerous field trips and teach on a wide variety of topics.

Be sure to save time to visit the Eagle Optics booth for the latest in binoculars, spotting scopes, digiscoping, and tripods. We are proud to be a partner in sponsoring this fantastic festival and hope to see you there!
